Job Description

Somerby is looking for a line cook to prepare food to the exact specifications of our Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $20.00- $22.00 per hour

Job Tasks (Duties) include but are not limited to:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Answer, report, and follow Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine's instructions.
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and members.
  • Keep a safe work environment for coworkers and staff.

Experience level: 1 year of experience in restaurant

Restaurant type: Bar, Casual dining restaurant, Fast casual restaurant, Fine dining restaurant

Shift: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Night shift, Weekend availability
