Seeking a Food Service Associate to join our dynamic team.

  • Stocks food preparation stations and completes pre-opening tasks.
  • Adheres to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Cultivates strong working relationships with food and beverage and hotel personnel.
  • Demonstrates understanding of health requirements, OSHA regulations, and Department of Labor regulations pertinent to kitchen and food and beverage staff.
  • Reports needed maintenance or repairs to the supervisor.
  • Adheres to established portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, and procedures.
  • Maintains sufficient food stock levels at line stations for efficient service.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection ovens, flat-top ranges, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Provides excellent food quality and presentation to all guests in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates multitasking abilities under pressure.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations, including events and operating hours.
  • Can read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Capable of handling large or small events with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Cleans kitchen and equipment, and completes pre-closing procedures.
  • Possesses knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
  • Follows established setup procedures.
  • Reports issues to the manager as they arise.
  • Ensures proper storage, labeling, dating, and rotation of all food items to prevent health and safety hazards, and to mitigate spoilage or waste.
  • Attends monthly department meetings and training sessions as needed.
  • Contributes to a positive work culture and hotel success.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
