Job Description

Must be capable to work all stations in the kitchen and assist in all clean up and shutting down of the shift they are working. Makes a constant effort to improve working conditions and procedures to upgrade food quality set by the Executive Chef. The individual must be constantly aware of food inventories needed for service and keep the kitchen clean at all times.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for preparing food products needed for service.
  • Assist in training new employees under the supervision of the Sous Chef.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers.
  • Ensure all food products are properly covered, dated, and stored according to Missouri Sanitation Standards.
  • Follow directions set forth by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent employee skills and be able to work as a team. Must emphasize a high level of customer service and give the best service possible.

Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills: Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
