Job Description

The Noodle Bar is located on the casino floor in the action and excitement of the casino. This is a guest facing open concept kitchen.

Essential Job Functions include preparing and producing menu items to recipe standards in a quick and efficient manner. You will prepare items such as, but not limited to, soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, breakfast items, and desserts. This role requires you to prepare, cook, and season all food while showing skills in garde manager, broiler, saucier, and large quantity cooking according to recipe specifications. You will also control food production in all work areas, including proper cooking methods, cooking times, and temperature. Familiarity with all phases of food preparation techniques is essential. Additionally, you will adhere to kitchen maintenance and sanitation programs, maintaining your assigned station and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Excellent communication skills are crucial to deliver truly great service to our guests.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent required. You must be able to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming License, and present a well-groomed appearance. The role requires availability to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends. A minimum of six months to a year of cash handling experience is strongly preferred within high volume industries. 2-3 years of culinary experience/education is preferred.

Work Environment Requirements state that you must be able to work independently along with a team mentality. You should be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more. Standing for prolonged periods of time or an entire shift is expected. You must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations, and tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required. You must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas, and respond to visual and aural cues.
