The Cook is a vital team member who will serve as a leader in the kitchen, and work closely alongside the dietary director, dietary assistant, dietary aides, and cooks to guide all food functions implementing current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, and assisted facilities.

This position is responsible for the timely meal preparation of all meals consistent with the posted dining schedule and approved menus. Cooks must be able to prepare meals in a timely manner and have time management skills. Cooks are also in charge of pulling and properly storing meat correctly, and making sure all temp logs and cleaning schedules are getting completed.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

• Must hold a valid Food Handlers Permit.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience as a Cook or similar role.
• Working in a Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus.
