Yellowstone Club’s Culinary department is currently seeking candidates for a Pastry Cook for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment dates are November - April.

The purpose of the Pastry Cook is to aid in providing the various outlets and events at Yellowstone Club with baked goods.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work required;
  • Previously experience as Line Cook.
  • Prepare breads and pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
  • Review production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to be produced daily.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
  • Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.

The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
