Cook - Jimbo's Diner

Jimbo's Diner, 7101 S. 84th Street, La Vista, NE is seeking experienced cooks to join our high-volume, full-service restaurant and sports bar team.

This is a critical role in ensuring a positive dining experience for every guest. Cooks are responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

• Prepare or direct the preparation of food using established production procedures and systems.
• Comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene, and health standards, following proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Store food properly and safely, marking dates and items.
• Clean and maintain food preparation equipment, reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Prepare all food accurately, following standard recipes and special diet orders; portion food for serving, adhering to state mandated safety guidelines.
• Plan food production to align with meal serving hours, ensuring the excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food are maintained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Clean and sanitize dishes as needed.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
