Job Description

Nutrition Services Team Member

Participates as a member of the Nutrition Services Team, primarily responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks related to food preparation, cooking, plating, and/or serving meals for patients, residents, or retail customers. Adheres to standard practices and regularly scheduled hours.

Reviews menu and production sheets, assembles food supplies and equipment for daily food production according to instructions and assignments from the production manager. Follows recipes and established production methods (e.g., batch cooking) to complete the preparation of assigned menu items.

  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or general education equivalent preferred. One to two years of restaurant or institutional cooking experience.
  • Work Schedule: Hours vary, including 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
