NIGHT COOK - Cardigan Mountain School

Flik Independent School Dining (FISD) is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Night Cook to join our team at Cardigan Mountain School. The position is located at 62 Alumni Dr, Canaan NH 03741. Only online applications are accepted. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with hours subject to variation. More specific details will be provided during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, meeting production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serves meals and prepares orders for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation standards are met.
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records for the assigned area.
  • Maintains a clean kitchen after preparation and serving, adhering to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures.
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring proper food and supply storage standards are maintained.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assists in production planning, record-keeping, and reporting as needed.
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required.
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Previous culinary experience in a banquet setting is preferred.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00
