Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is seeking a full-time Cook to contribute to our team at NYC Pizza at Macy's in New York, NY. In this role, you'll play a critical part in preparing delicious dishes for our guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will also collaborate with the serving team to provide an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities:

• Following supervisor's instructions for food preparation, adhering to recipes and sanitation guidelines.
• Preparing and assembling food and beverage items for guest orders.
• Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of workstations.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and management.
• Adhering to opening and closing procedures as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a cook or line cook, preferably with pizza preparation.
• Understanding of recipes and food abbreviations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills, and the ability to follow procedures and take direction.
• Basic math skills, including recipe measurement calculation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 35+ lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and reach.
• Ability to move quickly and coordinate multiple orders.
• Ability to adapt to variable kitchen temperatures.

• 1 year experience as a cook or line cook, preferably with Pizza.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.

• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs or more.
