Working as the Executive Chef II of a corporate dining account in Hoboken, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the culinary program including cafe and catering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure top quality culinary operations and services including planning, preparation, safety, team leadership, and hospitality.
  • Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards.
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and cost controls.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures as evidenced through local health department and third-party audits.
  • Follow facility, department, and Company safety policies and procedures to include occurrence reporting.
  • Participate and attend departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs, as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related experience in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of using quality goods, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ServeSafe or Department of Health certification a plus.
