Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced cook for a full-time, day position. The role involves various responsibilities in food production, ensuring quality and safety, while creating a positive dining experience for customers.

Job Summary:

• Food Production: Follows recipes, assists with recipe modification and development, and adheres to production schedules based on forecasts. Responsible for preparing foods that maintain nutrition, flavor, appearance, tenderness, and quality.
• Food Safety: Utilizes safe food preparation methods, monitors temperature records, and maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen.
• Customer Dining: Creates a positive dining experience, encourages participation, and solicits feedback from customers.
• Miscellaneous: Monitors meal portion controls, assists with inventory management, and promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma and two or more years of restaurant experience.
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment.
• Attendance at trainings and department meetings as necessary.
