The Team Cook requires an individual that will be a self-starter, detailed and organized. Experience in food service and customer/guest interaction is essential. In addition to meal preparation, the position will both plan meals and shop for everything required for event food service for team members and guests.

Duties include:

  • Planning and preparing team meals at all NASCAR Cup Series events.
  • Ordering food for team meals, including but not limited to weekly shopping in event markets for team meal needs.
  • Maintaining the food handling and service preparation area in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
  • Ensuring ingredients and final food products are fresh and safe for consumption.
  • Baking, grilling, steaming, and boiling necessary meats, vegetables, poultry, and other foods as necessary for prepared meals.
  • Setting up and tearing down the food service area at each event.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils and prep equipment, in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Working conditions are outdoors during race events with the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time along with moderate lifting. Join our team as a Team Cook/Chef where your culinary expertise will shine, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

Shift: Day shift
