CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Health, is a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities.

You will work under the supervision of a Food Service Supervisor (Executive Chef) and provide optimal food service to patients, visitors, and employees in a manner consistent with the mission and philosophy of CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following procedures in cleaning and handling of dishes, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Executing proper use of cleaning products and equipment temperature practices.
• Executing good hand washing techniques and wearing proper hair restraints.
• Adhering to department policy regarding washing, rinsing, and sanitizing cooking equipment and serviceware.
• Utilizing menus, food forecasts, tally sheets/order sheets, and serving portion guidelines.
• Correctly storing, labeling, dating, and rotating food items.
• Following department policy on taste testing food before service.

To qualify, you should have the ability to read and write and follow both written and oral instructions. Some mathematics may be required. While one year of cooking experience is preferred, it is not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
