Job Description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook at University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deep fry, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
  • Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing.
  • Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe.
  • Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times.
  • Manage food inventory.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Encourage good customer relations through product promotion.
