AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with NO weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deep fry, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing.
• Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe.
• Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times.
• Manage food inventory.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion.

Job Requirements:

• Culinary experience preferred.
• Exceptional food presentation skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
