Cook – Medford Market of Choice

Medford Market of Choice is seeking experienced cooks to join our friendly and professional team. Our state-of-the-art kitchens offer excellent opportunities for career advancement. This position offers competitive hourly wages, starting at $15/hour – $18/hour, depending on experience, with potential for growth to $19/hour.

As a member of our dedicated culinary team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive in-store experience for our customers. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager and support the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.

• Assisting the Chef/Kitchen Manager with daily tasks, including coordinating order timing and production schedules.
• Producing a wide variety of food items, including sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays, and soups.
• Assisting with counter work during peak periods.
• Ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Assisting with ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products.
• Training new kitchen staff and assistants.
• Preparing deep-fried, baked, stovetop foods, and salads.
• Maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
• Adhering to all health and safety sanitation requirements and possessing a current Food Handler's card.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional cooking experience.
• Availability to work any shift, including weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
