Cook - Market of Choice Cedar Mill

Market of Choice Cedar Mill is now hiring cooks to join our friendly and professional work environment. This position starts at $16.25/hour - $19.25/hour depending on experience with growth opportunity up to $19.85/hour.

As a Cook, you will report to the Kitchen Manager and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

• Assisting the Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily activities
• Consulting with the Chef/Kitchen Manager daily to ensure timely order and production scheduling
• Producing sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays, and soup for the hot and cold cases
• Counter work as needed during busy periods
• Timely delivery of assigned orders and other orders as needed
• Assisting the Chef/Kitchen Manager with ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products
• Training new kitchen workers and assistants
• Preparing deep-fried, baked, stove-top foods, and salads
• Maintaining positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees
• Maintaining Health and Safety sanitation requirements
• Possessing a current Food Handler card

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional cooking experience. Applicants should be available any shift, including weekends. You must be 18 years or older.
