The Cook at Noble Health Care Center prepares food in accordance with standard menus and specifications, facility procedures, and prescribed dietary and sanitary regulations; follows recipes; ensures proper storage of food and supplies; supervises serving of meals by wait staff; directs and assists in cleaning work areas, equipment, and floors; ensures all residents have received meals; and ensures fire and safety practices and procedures are followed.

• One year experience as a cook in hotel, restaurant, hospital, or similar institution preferred.
• Food handlers’ card required, or Food Safety Certification where required by local ordinance.
• Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
