Prepare, cook, and present food orders according to company standards and timeframes. Adhere to brand guidelines and recipe specifications when preparing dishes.

• Follow correct prepping procedures, using prep charts, and store/rotate perishable items appropriately.
• Maintain proper food temperatures to comply with Denny's Brand Standards, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare special orders as requested.
• Organize and maintain work areas, coolers, and storage areas.
• Assist with product inventory and deliveries as needed.
• Complete assigned prep work as required.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize work area.
• Assist service staff periodically.
• Adhere to all safe food handling principles.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
• Compliance with all state, county, and municipal regulations related to food handling health risks.
• Prefer at least 2 years of work experience or a combination of experience and culinary schooling.
