The position purpose is to provide a courteous and efficient dining experience to guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Become knowledgeable of all menu items, ingredients, specials, and prices.
- Respond tactfully to guest complaints.
- Communicate all guest suggestions or complaints to the Front House Manager.
- Monitor guest needs on a continual basis and check for guest satisfaction as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform dining guests.
- Accept payment and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Clear tables of used service items as needed.
- Follow all alcohol sale and food safety ordinances and regulations.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Verify the legal age (21) of guests ordering alcohol.
- Comply with ABLE Commission rules, and Alcohol Sale & Distribution Procedures.
- Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 6 months of prior serving experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Requires food handler’s permit.
- Requires liquor license.
Licensing:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Work Requirements:
- Requires problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
- Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and/or temperature.
