Part-Time Prep Cook

As a new Prep Cook at Iuditas Memory Care, you will begin your day by reviewing the menu and preparing ingredients for meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service to our senior residents. This role involves following proper food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity in developing new dishes and ensuring high-quality presentation of meals. Additionally, you will assist in inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance to support efficient operations.

Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our residents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of prior cooking experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills for recipe management and inventory tracking
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is essential for effective communication within the kitchen team and with residents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Availability to work one weekend day per week
