Chef de Partie/Sous Chef - Touchmark West Hills

Touchmark, nestled on 14 forested acres in the West Hills, just three miles from downtown Portland, offers 335 residences including single-family homes, garden homes, independent apartments, and licensed-care homes. The campus boasts five restaurants, walking trails, vineyards and a winery, courtyards, plazas, pickleball courts, garden plots with a greenhouse, a 40,000 square foot Clubhouse and Health & Fitness Center, and a rooftop terrace. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chef de Partie/Sous Chef to join our passionate culinary team. This role requires a strong commitment to our core values and a desire to lead by example, demonstrating hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity in your daily interactions.

  • Essential Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary arts degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years progressive experience in a professional kitchen, including at least one year in a supervisory role. Chef de Partie or Chef de Cuisine experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with catering production and team management.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, and team members.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, Tuesday through Saturday.
