We are seeking a Cook to join our team and report to the Chef/Executive Sous Chef. This full-time position involves maintaining health and sanitation standards, covering soap and sanitation buckets, and labeling and dating all food products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening and closing the kitchen in the absence of supervisors.
• Adhering to all prepared written recipes for menu items.
• Reporting out of stock items to the supervisor.
• Preparing all sauces and dishes for breakfast and dinner menus.
• Helping set up the restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet.
• Supervising and assisting dishwashers and pantry personnel.
• Maintaining health and sanitation standards.
• Assisting with banquet preparation.

In this role, you must possess a strong knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. You should be able to follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures diligently.

Your physical requirements include a minimum lifting of 50 pounds, pushing, bending, stooping, and manual dexterity. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Preferred qualifications include a high school education, relevant training and experience, CPR training, first aid training, and additional language ability.
