We are hiring immediately for a full-time hourly chef position at Aiken County Public Schools, located at 1163 Ergle Street, Graniteville, SC 29829. Schedule: Full-time schedule with days that may vary from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirements include ServSafe certification, previous inventory management, and culinary and catering experience. Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. An internal employee referral bonus is available.

Associates are expected to supervise, coordinate, and participate in the activities of cooks and other associates engaged in preparing, cooking, and serving food. This includes ensuring all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met. They will also efficiently prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules, ensuring proper presentation, food quality, and portion control.

Additional responsibilities involve tracking food use, waste, and consumption to requisition or purchase products, maintaining sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils, and keeping the display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, production, and merchandising requirements.
