We are seeking a Breakfast Cook for the Market Grille. This non-exempt position involves providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while preparing various breakfast foods.

General Function: As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for all hot and cold foods, including heat-and-eat varieties. Your duties will include:

• Prepping a variety of ingredients and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
• Providing excellent customer service during all interactions.
• Preparing cooking surfaces and various breakfast items.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the work area.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:

• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and record information accurately.
• Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent experience with six months or less of similar or related work experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and perform various physical activities such as climbing, balancing, and lifting.

Working Conditions: This position is frequently exposed to cool and warm environments, noise, and cleaning chemicals. It is a fast-paced work environment.
