Touchmark at All Saints, Sioux Falls’ leading full-service retirement community, is seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, assisting the Chef with both culinary and administrative tasks. Your commitment to delivering extraordinary dining experiences, maintaining high food quality, safety, and sanitation standards is essential. Your focus on resident and guest satisfaction is critical to our success.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chef with daily culinary and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to resident and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the highest quality food, product standards, sanitation, and safety.
  • Assist in training existing and new kitchen staff on dish preparation, arrangement, and plating according to the current menu.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, and team members.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Experience with culinary and administrative responsibilities of a kitchen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Commitment to Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion and a desire to model and encourage these values in others.
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Hiring Bonus: $1,500 after successful completion of the initial 90 days.
