Under general supervision, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities while following menus, recipes, and production sheets while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes, and portion sizes. Provides training and guidance to other employees performing related work.

Quality: Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures. Demonstrates, understands, and practices safe food handling techniques. Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition's uniform and personal appearance standards at all times. Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.

Service: Utilizes proper equipment to produce standard recipes. Utilizes systems to quality process/standards in food production. Reports customer complaints to the appropriate supervisor.

People: Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization. Participate in team and individual employee training.

Growth: Participate in training with other members of the production staff to further develop/advance within the industry.

Finance: Utilizes cost control processes to meet goals and reduce waste. Follow all timekeeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, and timely clocking. Utilizes systems to meet vendor/product compliance goals.

Performs other duties as assigned. Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in quantity cooking.
