We are looking for someone passionate about culinary arts to join our culinary team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen! Successful candidates for this role will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong desire to learn, develop skills, and work with the culinary leadership team to create menus that reflect seasonal availability and the concept of the restaurant.

Your Role:

  • Responsible for maintaining and setting up food production of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings, and other food items prepared in the broiler and sauté stations, as well as the grill and other stations as needed in partnership with Cook III.
  • Prepares all hot food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
  • Ensures that food items are ideal for sautéing, in the preparation of all menu items.
  • Ensures daily production is in line with the chart standards.
  • Keep all refrigeration, storage, and working areas in clean, working conditions to comply with Health Department regulations.
  • Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition.
  • Practice Teamwork and Clean as you go policies.
  • Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in the workstation.
  • Assist in cafeteria food prep and set up of employee cafeteria along with Cook III.
  • Partners and sets up Cook I or supervisor for success in the absence of Leadership presence.

Please be advised, we are a large full-service hotel and as such this position requires extended periods on your feet with frequent long walks around the internal areas of the hotel along with considerable physical activity on a continuous basis, up to and including entire shifts.
