Job Description

Many items on our menu are seasonal, which gives our line cooks a variety of recipes to prepare as we rotate throughout the year.

We look for people who have experience in a minimum of one of these stations: Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, Grill. Experience in more than one is a PLUS! Only know one or two stations? We have an enhanced development program to "level up." Continue growing and continue learning! Preferably have at least 6 months experience in a similar capacity in a high-volume restaurant. The flexibility and availability to work nights, holidays, and/or weekends should be doable. Exhibit exceptional knife skills and can work efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Read and execute a recipe. A love of making great food and an understanding of the accountability of presenting quality dishes!

What you will be doing includes preparing and cooking a variety of starters, entrees, pizzas, and more using various kitchen equipment and techniques. Know and comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service. Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and corresponding equipment. Execute proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Handle, store, and rotate all products properly according to standards. Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. Open and close the kitchen properly, assist others, and follow checklists for kitchen stations. Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures. Participate in proactive communication to help avoid and solve operational, HR, and financial issues. Be flexible during shifts to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed.
