A Day in the Life

As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for:

• Cooking and preparing meats, ensuring steak and chicken are fresh and ready for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and organized grill area, including proper food storage and labeling.
• Monitoring food inventory and notifying management of low supplies.
• Ensuring all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and served promptly.
• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of raw meats.
• Assisting with kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Completing any other duties to support restaurant operations.

Qualifications

To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the US.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

This position requires:

• Visual, auditory, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs, sit and stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, and bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Possible outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Potential for extended computer use (screen viewing, mouse and keyboard operation, reaching).
• Potential for driving or travel by car, air, or other transportation.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Report to work in a responsive state, free from sedatives, and disclose any prescribed or over-the-counter medications that may affect job performance.
• Understanding that natural and regular stressors may occur in the workplace.
