Job Description

We are looking for a culinary management professional to join our team at the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott. This management position focuses on successfully accomplishing daily objectives in the kitchen, leading staff, and assisting in all areas of the kitchen including food production, purchasing, and kitchen sanitation. You will contribute to ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area, or
  • A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 3 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining culinary standards and responsibilities.
  • Supervising daily culinary team activities and ensuring productivity levels.
  • Maintaining culinary goals and monitoring staffing levels.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and managing day-to-day operations.

The hourly pay range for this position is $26.44 to $29.33. Benefits include a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, an employee stock purchase plan at a 15% discount, accrued paid time off, life and disability insurance, travel discounts, and more. Benefits may be subject to eligibility and other requirements.
