Job Description

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager, partnering with the José Andrés Group, to support the General Manager in managing operations, ensuring the account runs within budget and exceeds client expectations. Your role involves overseeing safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while fostering strong relationships with employees, clients, and guests. You will also play a key role in team development, interdepartmental collaboration, and aligning dining services with broader operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage staff in line with company policies and legal standards.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach employees and managers.
  • Conduct employee meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain food cost controls without compromising quality.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory, and HACCP compliance.
  • Handle food storage, preparation, and sanitation standards.
  • Participate in menu planning with chefs and manage catering operations.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, financial targets, and reports.
  • Review processes to enhance safety, performance, and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and fire regulations.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned.
