The Prep Cook is responsible for supporting the food and beverage department by preparing food prior to the cooking stage. Duties include cutting vegetables and fruit, rotating items on the buffet lines, providing internal guest service by effectively communicating with co-workers, and assisting with separating deliveries and storing items in proper storage areas. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the Sous Chef.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Must possess basic culinary knowledge with the ability to follow directions and the desire to advance into a skilled cooking position. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours. The ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License, Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
