Job Description

Join an amazing global healthcare organization at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. The Cook prepares food that is nutritious and appetizing in accordance with the requirements of the Food Production Manager. You will be responsible for preparing meals for patients on both regular and modified diets, as well as food items for the cafeteria.

Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of all foods prepared and returned, ensuring that DC Department of Health standards are followed, along with strict safety standards under Johns Hopkins expectations.

The position requires a full-time commitment on a rotating shift schedule (40 hrs per week) from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with rotating weekend and holiday work required.

Salary Range: Minimum $20.10 per hour - Maximum $33.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
