Experienced Cooks needed at a Seminary in Washington, DC for SAGE Dining Services®.

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking several experienced Cooks for a Seminary in Washington, DC. As a cook, you will make a significant impact in an academic environment, bringing excitement to the dining hall with made-from-scratch, Chef-inspired recipes that delight students, faculty, staff, and parents. We are looking for a cook with proven experience, strong knowledge of cooking techniques, and a commitment to food safety practices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and have a passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals.

Two schedules are available:

• AM Cook: Sunday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
• PM Cook: Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Pay Rate: $19.50 - $20.00 Hourly

Time Commitment: Full-Time

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing assigned menu items according to SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies to exceed guest expectations.
• Ensuring all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
• Interacting positively with SAGE guests and team members.
• Using proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

Qualifications:

• Experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
• Ability to interact with SAGE guests and team members professionally and positively.
