Job Summary

As a Senior Executive Chef, you will lead culinary operations across all areas of a unit, ensuring on-trend, efficient, safe, and sanitary food production. You'll be responsible for menu development, inventory management, purchasing, food cost controls, and staff management and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high culinary standards for retail, board meals, dining, and catering operations.
  • Train, develop, and provide inspirational leadership to the local culinary team.
  • Lead Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, food seasonality programs, health/wellness initiatives, and high-quality culinary arts on campus.
  • Analyze ongoing performance and trends in the local operation and lead improvements.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Technology/Management, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience, depending on formal degree or training
  • Experience planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective
  • Strong leadership skills and a desire to work with an industry leader
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, and the Internet)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at various levels (management, departmental, customer, and associate)
  • ServSafe® Certification
