Job Description

The Baker must take excellent care of our Guests by providing them with fresh baked products that will tempt the taste buds. This is a position that incorporates Guest interaction and creating the breads and sweet treats that Fuddruckers has to offer. The Baker makes fresh Fuddruckers products such as milk shakes, ice cream treats, cookies, and bread. It’s a huge part of why our Guests keep coming back.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the preparation of bakery products in accordance with Fuddruckers specifications and Production sheets.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation specifications.
  • Clean, sanitize, organize and stock working area, equipment and utensils per Fuddruckers procedures.
  • Maintain FIFO and follow product labeling guidelines.
  • Follow all Fuddruckers recipes & procedures as documented on the Production sheet.
  • Updates production amounts on Production sheet and items completed.
  • Set up the bakery case by 10:30am and maintain the case and counter throughout the shift.
  • Greet Guests and attend to their needs immediately, handle complaints as necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver milk shakes, root beer floats and other desserts to the Guest’s table.
  • Obtain knowledge of the menu, promotions and daily specials to accurately manage the needs of the Guests.
  • Follow all Baker – Job Responsibilities as listed in Training material.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by management.

CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must maintain a positive and upbeat attitude.
  • Must actively participate in daily Pre-Shift Meetings.
  • Must be able to comply and support the Fuddruckers Core Values.
  • Professional appearance required (see uniform standards).
  • Activities include, but are not limited to, walking, standing for long periods of time, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, talking, and sitting.
