SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at a prestigious private school in the heart of Capitol Hill, Seattle, WA. As a Sushi Chef, you will make a significant impact in an academic setting, bringing excitement to the dining hall with made-from-scratch, Chef-inspired recipes that delight students, faculty, staff, and parents. Your role will include daily preparation and serving of meals, with a special focus on creating delicious sushi dishes for the students.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Occasional catering events.

Pay Type: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly.

Time Commitment: Full Time.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests’ expectations.
• Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

• Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
