Job Description

Location: FI (Sapphire House, Churchill Way, Biggin Hill, Westerham TN16 3BN)

Rate of pay: £38,000 Per Annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Sunday working 5 days. Unsociable hours may be required based on the race schedule and location, including evenings, weekends, or bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Kitchen Team: Motivate, train, and manage staff to ensure high performance and teamwork.
  • Deliver High-Quality Food: Ensure all dishes meet exceptional standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Creative Menu Planning: Design innovative, seasonal menus tailored to race weekends and special events.
  • Stock and Cost Management: Oversee inventory, control costs, minimise waste, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure Food Safety and Allergen Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene standards, and allergen management.
  • Efficient Kitchen Operations: Optimise workflows and adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure environments like race weekends.
