The Salvation Army is seeking a Food Service Assistant for their Camp Arnold. In this role, you will maintain a valid Washington State Food Handlers Card and assist with food service preparation as assigned by the Food Service Manager or Lead Cook – Sous Chef.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing meals and snacks in accordance with scheduled times.
• Familiarity with quantity requirements for menu items.
• Properly cooling and storing leftovers following state and county health codes.
• Cleaning and caring for facilities and equipment.
• Ensuring kitchen cleanup is completed immediately after meals.
• Securing the kitchen before leaving after scheduled events.
• Maintaining safe and clean work habits at all times.
• Participating in training and conferences as assigned.

Physical requirements include the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis, as well as the ability to operate a telephone and a computer.
