Job Description

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Chef to join our team at The Basingstoke Country Hotel. The Basingstoke Country Hotel is a 100 bedroom-hotel that boasts a stylish Brasserie, offering casual dining and food for the whole family. The Hotel has 5 conference rooms catering for between 25 to 240 delegates providing for various events and wedding functions.

Your main duties will include:

  • Oversee the kitchen team and ensuring meals are prepared to a high standard.
  • Plan and organise menus for the restaurant, weddings, and banquet events.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your kitchen team, while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain strict health and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
  • Manage food deliveries and control stock levels effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary skills, proven leadership experience, and a passion for delivering top-quality cuisine.
