STATUS: PART-TIME

As a Line Cook, you'll deliver exceptional service and consistently produce high-quality food products. You'll actively support the kitchen staff in maintaining the facility's kitchen operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cooking and preparing food
  • Serving food in the correct portion sizes and temperatures
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of equipment and serving counters
  • Maintaining stock inventory in the stockroom
  • Cleaning the kitchen before and after business hours
  • Properly scrubbing, sanitizing, and storing pots, pans, utensils, and dishes
  • Performing other related duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Valid Food Handling Certifications, or the ability to obtain them quickly
  • Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions
  • Availability on weekends, evenings, and some weekdays
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management skills
  • Prior experience in the food industry is a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Tolerance for potentially extreme temperatures
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and/or pull for extended periods
