Cook - Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness

Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a talented Cook to join our dietary department. We are committed to providing healthy, delicious, and enjoyable meals for our residents. Our enhanced dining program values culinary excellence.

• Essential Functions:
• Prepare pre-planned cycle menus efficiently and effectively.
• Perform assigned food preparation tasks.
• Read production orders from tray cards.
• Ensure the highest possible quality and taste in all prepared food.
• Assist in planning cooking schedules.
• Confirm food readiness for tray service.
• Maintain and improve standards of food storage, preparation, and service.
• Assist in checking food supplies on food order forms.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Required: Current Food Handlers card (or ability to obtain one) issued by the local Health Department.
• Preferred: Prior cooking experience in a skilled nursing environment.

• Competency in operating kitchen equipment.
